I'm your dietitian

I am Clara, currently working as a dietitian in a slimming centre. During the past six months, I've been meeting overweight or obese clients, understand their story of being F-A-T (No offence). I empathy those who gained weight due to work which causes irregular meal timings, inactive lifestyle and excessive social activities which involves FOOD. 

No doubt that some was due to hormone imbalance, genetics, etc etc, but 80% of their condition can be prevented. As there are so many negative effects of being overweight/obese, including low self-esteem (that's why so many people visit slimming centres) -- but do the treatments in slimming centres really work without diet and lifestyle modifications? Some said you will if you believe? Hmm, try to think. 

As a dietitian, I strongly believe that no matter what slimming method or products you've tried, it all comes back to diet and exercise. And the term "diet" I mean here is not some special diet like "Sugar blockage Diet", "Blood group Diet", "Grapefruit Diet" or any funny diets that you can google, but a Healthy Balanced diet which is sustainable for the rest of your life. The purpose of creating this blog is to share tips of healthy eating which benefits you, and make you stay SLIM and HEALTHY! The main point is, start to think about your health now.
